Parallel groove clamps or parallel groove conductors are developed to connect two bare aluminum, steel reinforced aluminum, copper conductors, low voltage cable lines, service line system, street and building lighting. Parallel groove clamps are designed to prevent mechanical withdrawal of the conductor, and to resist corrosion and electrochemical bimetallic interactions. This is achieved through the shape of special clamps, high-strength corrosion-resistant aluminum allowing materials, galvanized steel butts, nuts and spring washers. The branch channel is pressed by a bimetallic plate to ensure electrical contact and reduce contact resistance while applying bare conductors of different materials
