Hydraulic seals are intended for use in hydraulic cylinders and other types of high-pressure dynamic applications. Pneumatic seals are used in valves and pneumatic cylinders for applications requiring lower operating pressures.
The pneumatic seal is mainly used to contain fluids such as compressed air and gas. To make pneumatic seals, materials with advanced properties are used, which offer the best compromise between friction loads, the type of fluids and the effects of temperature and pressure.
Hydraulic Piston seals prevent fluid from crossing the area of the piston head. Rod seals ensure that fluid does not leak from the cylinder and adequate pressure is maintained. Wiper seals are installed to prevent contamination from entering the hydraulic system.
