Product Information

digital multiplexer
In electronics, a multiplexer is also known as a data selector, a device that selects between several analog or digital input signals and redirects the selected input to a single output line, the selection being directed by a separate set of digital inputs known as select lines.
The multiplexer makes it possible to share several input signals in a single device or resource, for example, an analog-to-digital converter or a single communications transmission medium, rather than having one device for each input signal. Multiplexes can also be used to implement Boolean functions for multiple variables.
