Borri was founded in 1932 by Mr. Ernesto Borri producing industrial electrical equipment and has been developing high quality electrical power systems since then.

In 2005 Borri was acquired by a local group of entrepreneurs previously working in key positions by the Borri company.

In 2014 Borri S.p.A. merged with Astrid Energy Enterprises S.p.A. specialized in energy power solutions to strengthen its products and markets.

Borri has been making progressive growth in sales and profits and investing highly into R&D as well as in local support & services organizations in many countries around the world strengthening its international position.
