Product Information

A self-cleaning strainer (or self-cleaning filter) is a type of water filter which utilizes system pressure to clean itself.

Screen filters are recommended for removing physical, inorganic material such as sand, scale and assorted debris, and can be cleaned manually or automatically. Disc filters consist of a stack of discs, each with a series of microscopic grooves. The dimension of the grooves determines the mesh size of the filter.

A disc filter is a type of water filter used primarily in irrigation, similar to a screen filter, except that the filter cartridge is made of a number of plastic discs stacked on top of each other like a pile of poker chips. Each disc is covered with small grooves or bumps.
