Lionweld Meiser L.L.C. provide a purpose built factory in Dubai dedicated to the manufacture of Access Engineering products. These products include: Manufacture of Grating Panels, Stair Treads, Handrail Systems, Cage Ladders, Panel Clips and Heavy Duty “Safe Grate” trench grating.

A steel working company specialising in gratings, metal sectioning, stairs and steps, galvanizing and split banding, the company employs 1800 people, over 1200 of them in Germany. There are two main factory units in the Saarland and Saxony, plus other subsidiaries in Belgium, France,
Hungary, Egypt and Dubai. There are branches and agents worldwide, thus guaranteeing a personal customer service throughout. We have our own galvanizing, splitting and cold rolling factories, ensuring premium quality.

Founded by the late Yousuf Baker in 1947, the Dutco group of companies is one of the oldest business organisations in the United Arab Emirates, and has a long and distinguished history. Activities include, amongst others, large scale civil engineering work, mechanical and electrical engineering, pipeline engineering, shipping and freight services, trading and luxury hotel operation. Effective January 1st 2006, Dutco has sold 49% of its metal access systems business, Lionweld Kennedy Middle East L.L.C., to the Meiser group, the number one company in Europe in this field. In acknowledgement of this new partner, the name of the company was changed to Lionweld Meiser L.L.C.

The joint owners of Lionweld Meiser are particularly excited about the prospects to expand the size of the business, which will continue to be based at the Dutco Complex in Jebel Ali, and offer many product lines in which Meiser is already an industry leader.
