Brand Information

Nippon Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. began operating in 1911. On April 1, 2019, we changed our trade name from NIPPON STEEL & SUMIKIN PIPE CO., LTD. taking a bold new step forward as a manufacturer of welded steel tubes responsible for the electric resistance-welded pipe and tube business of the NIPPON STEEL Group.

Over the more than one century since our founding, our company has supplied high-quality electric resistance-welded pipes and tubes to a wide range of fields including automobiles, construction machinery, civil engineering, and building construction.

In the future, through collaboration with the NIPPON STEEL Group and effective use of its business resources, we will accelerate the development of new technologies aimed at meeting demands for higher strength, lighter weight, and other improvements to electric resistance-welded pipes and tubes. We will also work to further improve the level of customer satisfaction through our broad product lineup, quality control, and other advantages, and will make full use of all manufacturing sites in Japan and overseas, including those of Group companies, as we strengthen our global production and sales system.

In order to increase the trust placed in us by all stakeholders, we will continue to give top priority to safety, dedicate ourselves to complete compliance and expand the internal control system, work for preservation of the global environment, and actively carry out other CSR activities.

We will continue to strive for continual growth and contributions to society as we rapidly respond to customer needs and supply high-quality products as a global manufacturer of welded steel tubes. I would like to ask for your continued support.
