Brand Information

Industrial Instrumentation Company limited (IICL) perpetuated under the umbrella of Abdulla H. Al- Mutawa sons Group (AMSG). AMSG has been founded by the late Shaikh Abdulla H. Mutawa as an establishment for contracting services in 1948 and fulfilled his personal vision of creating diversified organization that spawns a unique tradition of values and excellence. Today the company has wide diversification with excellence in the areas of Contracting, Construction, PVC , Instrumentation, catering and pharmacy.

IIC is the one more feather added AMSG. IICL is trading company dealing with all kind of major industrial instruments and mechanical devices, in other words simply “You Demand, We Deliver”. IIC evolved from Al Mutawa instrumentation division which had been in manufacturing of pressure and temperature gauges since 20 years. The services were expanded to our clients by doing after sales calibration services at our state of art lab and by supplying the varied range of industrial instruments and mechanical devices.

  • 23 years of experience in calibration & testing.
  • Minimum turnaround time for calibration of industrial instruments.
  • SMS notification when instrucments is due for calibration.
  • Pick up & Delivery of the material.
  • Onsite & inhouse calibration services.
  • ISO certified 17025 labratory.
  • Free technical / advance / support from qualified technical team.

Scope of services

The accuracy of all measuring devices degrade over time. This is typically caused by normal wear and tear. However, changes in accuracy can also be caused by electric or mechanical shock or a hazardous manufacturing environment (e.x., oils, metal chips etc.). Depending on the type of the instrument and the environment in which it is being used, it may degrade very quickly or over a long period of time. The bottom line is that, calibration improves the accuracy of the measuring device. Accurate measuring devices improve product quality.

What is instrument calibration ?

Instrument calibration is one of the primary processes used to maintain instrument accuracy. Calibration is the process of configuring an instrument to provide a result for a sample within an acceptable range.Eliminating or minimizing factors that cause inaccurate measurements is a fundamental aspect of instrumentation design.

Why calibration important ?

The accuracy of all measuring devices degrade over time. This is typically caused by normal wear and tear. However, changes in accuracy can also be caused by electric or mechanical shock or a hazardous manufacturing environment (e.x., oils, metal chips etc.). Depending on the type of the instrument and the environment in which it is being used, it may degrade very quickly or over a long period of time. The bottom line is that, calibration improves the accuracy of the measuring device. Accurate measuring devices improve product quality.

What factors effect calibration ?

Once the benefits of a properly performed calibration are understood, it becomes evident that care must be taken during the process to prevent potential error sources from degrading the results. Several factors can occur during and after a calibration that can affect its result.

  • Using the wrong calibrator values
  • Calibrator formulation tolerance
