About us

The administrative company Global Insulator Group was founded in 2006 with the purpose to find a common market output to the West for two insulator factories well-known in the former Soviet Union. Members of the group are

• "Yuzhnouralsky Insulators and Fittings Plant" (YuAIZ) in Russia known locally with the brand name “Южноуральский арматурно-изоляторный завод“;
• "Lviv Insulator Company Ltd." (LIC) in Ukraine known locally with the brand name in Russian “Львовская изоляторная компания“;
• Limited liability company EU GIG in Estonia which organizes sales activities and logistics directed to the European Union.

The main purposes of the administrative company Global Insulator Group (hereafter the Group) are to organize production activities according to the needs of the consumer and to decrease the end price of the factories` products by way of giving up intermidiaries.

The production of both factories (YuAIZ & LIC) that belong to the Group are certified with ISO 9001:2000 and this is known in both the territory of the former Soviet Union and outside. Unfortunately, not all of the resellers emphasize the origin of the offered insulators and the support of the manufacturer is often not even relevant to the maintainers of high-voltage lines. Global Insulator Group offers via EU GIG Ltd. factory prices and technical support and is interested in any kind of feedback.

Global Insulator Group focused on sales and manufacture of glass, composite, porcelain insulators and hardware fittings for overhead power lines and switchgears, 0.4 kV to 1150 kV stations and substations.
