ElectroTech was founded in 2001 by Marie Laestander, Juha Rajala and Stefan Nordmark. They all came from management posts in the electronics industry. We have always worked with great personal commitment and with a focus on technology, which will remain the guiding principle in the way we work.
Our team are fully competent in electronics and software design and the manufacture of prototypes and advanced electronics.

Design

We offer our customers a holistic solution from preliminary study to finished product in production. With our competence in both digital and analogue electronics and employees who have a passionate interest in mew technology, we commit ourselves wholeheartedly and work close to our customers all the way. The design phase also offers great opportunities to design products where the environment is taken into consideration. Sub-phases in design:

RFID - Smart tags and unique readers

Measuring in tough environments, no cables and no power source – we make this possible through our RFID concept. Data read is presented from a database that is integrated in your data environment. We have handheld and fixed readers and intelligent tags (transponders). Our RFID products are sold under our Craycom brand and are divided into four categories. • Smart Concrete

  An RFID tag (transponder) with a sensor and transmitter/receiver that is cast inside concrete structures. The signals from the tag(s) are transmitted to an external receiver/transmitter located outside the concrete. The signal from the external receiver/transmitter is then connected to the Internet via GPRS. The information is collected in a database where the concrete’s strength is calculated. This is done by using available theory on equivalent curing time and trend curves for a given quality of concrete. Information about the casting process is presented via a graphical interface. All data for ongoing and completed measurements is also readily accessible.

• Smart Recycling

  Smart recycling is a system that has been specially developed for emptying of containers at recycling stations. The system optimises emptying intervals, which both saves money and reduces environmental impact. Smart recycling allows the levels in the containers to be monitored round the clock! The system consists of a database server and GPRS sensors with ultrasound.

• Wifi

  WiFi has moved put of homes and offices into industry. Today entire industrial areas and even underground mines have WiFi coverage. ElectroTech is naturally keeping pace with developments by adapting our traditional RFID tags to connect directly to WiFi networks instead of using intermediate readers. The first WiFi tags have been developed and are already being used for identification and positioning of people, vehicles and objects in mines and tunnels. More industrial WiFi tags with various sensors will follow.
