HISTORICAL

1927

  • Creation in Nancy of the company L'ECLAIRAGE TECHNIQUE by Henri Adam . The primary vocation of ECLATEC was to study and manufacture lighting equipment.

1954

  • Creation of an export service and a foreign network, including two agencies in Algiers and Casablanca.

1957

  • Construction of a modern laboratory for physical, photometric and mechanical research, including a darkroom unique in France at the time. ECLATEC also offered steel masts and brackets at this date and became the leading supplier on the market.

1961

  • Creation of an experimental road of 200 meters, essential complement of the existing laboratory. On this date, ECLATEC also designs and offers movable crown masts for large spaces.

1963

  • Construction of the new factory in Maxéville . Multiplication of national markets (highways, ZUP, industry, ...).

1966

  • ECLATEC obtains the GRAND PRIX DES OSCARS DE L'EXPORTATION in the engineering and services category .

1970

  • The company continues to expand in France and abroad: 11 countries sell the ECLATEC brand .
    Over 50% of Nancy's production is shipped to over 80 countries.

1975

  • ECLATEC obtains the GRAND PRIX of the OSCARS OF EXPORT for EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE.

1982

  • ECLATEC and its product SOUTHERN are rewarded by the JANUS industry .

1984

  • ECLATEC becomes a French company again.

1985

  • ECLATEC and its product LUSTRA rewarded by the industry JANUS .

1989

  • Inauguration of the new laboratory on the production site in Maxéville.
  • Beginning of the collaboration with Jean Michel Wilmotte (town of Agde) through Rochelongue and Luna products .

1991

  • Collaboration with Jean Michel WILMOTTE and the city of Lyon. Development of Architek , Reflex , Duplex sets .

1998

  • ECLATEC and its CLIP product , designed by M. AUREL , rewarded by the industry JANUS . ECLATEC is positioned as a pioneer in the light column market by developing the ALEX product with designer J. NISSOU .

2004

  • Development of LED lighting systems and autonomous lighting solutions.

2005

  • Combination of GHM and ECLATEC . Creation of a large French public lighting group , offering a complete range of lighting equipment (poles, brackets and lanterns) and street furniture.

2009

Since 1927, when it was founded in Nancy, ECLATEC has specialized in the design of lighting and public lighting equipment.

METALEC, a subsidiary of the GHM group, is based in Mirecourt (Vosges). It produces electrical supply sub-assemblies and metalwork components associated with ECLATEC supplies (brackets, masts, etc.) and GHM.

These modules make it possible to re-equip existing conventional luminaires (Retrofit) ECLATEC, GHM or others according to study or for other assemblies such as integration into welded structures or building elements.
