We set the highest quality-standards of power cables, utilize the expertise of a skilled workforce and operate from technologically advanced facilities across the UAE.

In the last few years, we have witnessed tremendous growth of our sites and production – a testament to our commitment to production quality and meeting our customers’ needs.

Since our founding in 1979 by the government of Dubai as a joint venture with BICC cables, we have supplied cables and wires for a number of landmark projects within the UAE and internationally. Some of our biggest projects in the UAE include Burj Khalifa, Dubai Metro, Emirates Palace, Burj Al Arab, Atlantis, The Palm and Yas Marina Circuit.

Within the greater GCC, we have also supplied power cables to projects such as the Ras Gas Project, Dasman Hypermarket (Qatar), Central Bank of Oman, Dilmunia Health Centre (Bahrain).

Further abroad, our milestones include working on the Public Utility Board (Singapore), ICC Tower (Hong Kong, HSBC Corporate Office (Hong Kong) and the Delhi Metro (India).

Today, we are equally owned by ICD (Private investment of Government of Dubai) and ADQ (Private investment of the Government of Abu Dhabi). We supply a wide range of power cables and accessories to customers in over 40 countries across the globe.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

As a responsible corporate entity, Ducab has adopted the highest standards of social commitment into the heart of its business. Since its inception in 1979, Ducab has had a strong role to play in the UAE’s industrial and social development alike, with a focus on developing a sustainable business that cares for its employees, customers, shareholders, suppliers, environment and society.

Over the course of almost three decades, Ducab has consistently given back to the community through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. To amplify its efforts the company formed a CSR team in 2012, that would implement a strong structure and systems for a more targeted approach to contributing to the community.

Ducab self-assessments as per the Dubai Chamber CSR Label framework, which is specifically tailored to this region and includes international best practices. Based on this, Ducab follows a CSR strategy focused on the four areas set out by the Dubai Chamber CSR Label: Workplace, Marketplace, Community, and Environment.

Since 2012, Ducab has been the recipient of the Dubai Chamber CSR Label award every year, affirming its strong commitment to the community.
