Every company originates from a dream and the founder’s dream of Mandelli (Maniglie) had the color of gold: brass. It was the year 1953. Passion for beauty and ingenuity generates innovation: know-how consists in this and is a values in which MANDELLI1953 has always been recognized. Over sixty years of history are a heritage of precious craftsmanship, to which are added dedication, manual skill and industrial technology to push the company to produce new models constantly, cutting edge technology with innovative and sustainable finishes. The continuous research activity made by the Research and Development Centre is aimed to combine an uncompromised form and function, placing MANDELLI1953 among the leading companies in the sector, both nationally and internationally.

For MANDELLI1953 the quality refers, even before the indisputable ones technological characteristics of its products, to a set of acts, a code of behavior, a mixture of stubbornness, strategy of patience and passion for details. All the handles are made within the company using only certified Italian brass, giving it shape by forging, turning and die casting, grinding, vibrating, polishing and satin finishing – galvanic and metallization (PDV) treatments and painting. Inflexible attention to well made: are the details making the difference between a good product and a superior artifact, fundamental awareness of the company.

Beginning from the choice of the brass, Italian and of the highest quality, to the packaging of the finished handle, the entire production is followed with the utmost care and dedication, in Italy, in Brianza district. That’s why MANDELLI1953 marks all its products with “100% MADE IN ITALY” logo. What the MANDELLI1953’s brand exporting to foreign countries is not only a product of excellence, but an entire culture of the artfully crafted object, of Italian know-how derived from ancient traditions of high craftsmanship that over the years has been able to use the best technologies.

Atelier Mandelli

It is the details that give value to doors and windows, revealing the character of the spaces they furnish: Atelier Mandelli was born, where the care of a craft workshop and the resources of an industrial production in continuous updating combine to satisfy every design request, both in functional and aesthetic terms.

Concrete

Research and experimentation inspires Juno project signed Alessandro Dubini for MANDELLI1953. The constructive material is cement, hard and at the same time soft, almost velvety to the touch. Colors inspired by the shades of the earth. One contemporary and essential form to enhance the original choice of material, undisputed protagonist of this project.

Engraved

Engraved is the meeting point between ornament and design. It is the possibility to get precise decorations on the base metal surface, the brass, from which the handles take shape MANDELLI1953. The guilloche technique, realized by a manually guided machine, generates a precise pattern, where the charm of craftsmanship and the technological avant-garde combine to generate endless designs.

Marble

A timeless touch class in interior decorations, the marble, is the ideal proposal for embellish the evergreen pieces of MANDELLI1953’s collection. Heart of projects carried out ad hoc suggested by elegance and unique properties of Marquinia or Calacatta. Made in Italy, as our philosophy.

Leather

Soft and refined detail, to wrap the MANDELLI1953’s projects. The leather could not missing in an Atelier, the ideal material to be sewn around every single idea. Hand made, with artisan experience and a vision inspired by the most modern interior decorations.

Motherpearl

Shine and iridescence make mother-of-pearl the protagonist of this customization. A graft of various shades and colors makes each handle even more precious.
