Energy costs and maintenance costs are certainly the most important elements in the management of an air compressor for industrial use, but this is not the most, they are exceeding the cost of the initial investment.
The compressors that use technology “inverter” ensure the reduction of costs associated with energy use and maintenance optimizing the response to business needs, in terms of “real” air consumption. The proposed system adjusting the rotation speed of motor and the compressor according to air demand by the user or users!
To these advantages we must consider the possibility of maintaining a constant pressure in the distribution lines, even in the absence of balancing tanks and or with very long lines! Saving energy means not only spend less, but it also means protecting the environment in which we live and therefore our future and our quality of life! These are the reasons why FIAC has also chosen to use for the new series of belt-driven compressors from 10 to 60 HP, the latest generation of inverters, able to provide:
- Elimination of the peak demand of the electric motor starting
- Proportionality between consumption and air load produced during compression. Also reducing the pressure oscillations on the line.
- Reduction of functional stresses on mechanical components, such as motor, compressor, etc.
