Alexander Fraser & Son Limited was established in 1885 and has grown over the years to become a major provider of International Trade Finance to small and medium sized businesses in the UK and overseas for over 130 years. Our markets overseas are: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa and U.S.A. Today, the current finance team have over 50 years’ experience within the sector and have detailed knowledge of all documentary requirements. We have a network of banks, corporate advisors, freight forwarders and logistic companies which can be utilised to provide a comprehensive solution to the hurdles of international trade. The resulting diversity of our specialist areas allows us to serve a wide variety of clients in many different industries and enables us to give expert advice to individual clients.

Frasers Aerospace is born…

Over 20 years ago, Frasers became aware of a client-led supply demand for a particular series of products produced by an American manufacturer; this was the Nuvite Chemical Compound Company Inc, then of Brooklyn, N.Y. specialists in the manufacture of a range of high-quality aircraft appearance products. At that time Nuvite had no desire to supply their goods themselves outside of the USA, so Frasers offered to supply their products to their client themselves. As that appeared to both parties to work well, it was decided to try the same with other quality aircraft product manufacturers, and the rest – as they say – is history with Alexander Fraser & Son Trading being formed, latterly brought up-to-date as Frasers Aerospace ™.
